Under the umbrella of Dubai Building Permit Development Committee, the GIS Center participated in the BIM Middle East 2019 Conference & Expo Open BIM: The Key to Industry 4.0 on September 24, 2019, in order to highlight the advanced global level achieved by the Committee in this field. The event included presentations, interactive educational experiences and sharing of information led by experts in this field. Engineer, Maryam Al-Muhairi, Director of the Municipality's GIS Center, presented the Dubai BIM Roadmap for Building Construction project and emphasized its integration with GIS. A number of government agencies and private companies from the Middle East participated in this event, showcased presentations of their most prominent achievements, and focused on key regional issues and international developments.
